The amazing machines you see at the Ribble Steam Museum worked at factories, mines, power stations and docks all over the North West of England. Some of them would have been used to power cranes to move heavy loads on and off ships at the docks. Mr Ribble can show you how – and you can have a go with our family activity. Can you use the cranes to move the cargo without dropping it?
